I am passionate about extending and diversifying the community working in and engaging with science. To this end, I have led and participated in a range of science communication and outreach projects for different audiences.
These activities have included:
- Visiting schools for talks and discussions
- Speaking to female students at the Women of the Future conference
- Community-based science outreach with the Norfolk and Norwich Science Association (formerly the Norwich Branch of the British Science Association)
- The @365womeninSTEM Twitter project to showcase the diversity of women working in STEM (featured in ASPB and UEA blogs)
